Pink Ladies Have Arrived!

The much sought-after Pink Ladies are the highlight of our Apple Fundraiser this Saturday. This sweet, crisp, long-keeping favorite accompanies two other popular varieties - Winesap and Fuji. Our applesauce special features Gala and Golden Delicious - $4.50 for a 1/2 peck.

We'll be firing up the roaster again this Saturday so bring any vegetables purchased at the market and we'll roast 'em for free! Located on the central chef demo patio. 


Welcome back The High Ridge Pickers with their energetic blue grass music, beginning at 9am on the music platform.

Fresh Fish Charlotte Fish Company will bring grouper to market this Saturday, caught fresh off the NC coast.

Community Outreach:  Share The Harvest Challenge is a fresh produce donations effort that challenges market customers and farmers to help feed hungry local residents who turn to the Matthews Help Center for food assistance. Please place donations in the coolers near the Community House.

Buying locally grown foods supports local farmers and the local economy.

All foods are locally grown or produced. Fish, when available, is line-caught and landed on the North Carolina coast.
